We thank everyone attended, helped, supported and organised
this wonderful event, the Dinner was sell-out, and sadly we had to stop selling
tickets as the Mercure hall is used to its maximum capacity. The atmosphere was
great and we were overwhelmed by the support of the community.
The Arrival of the Lord Mayor was great, and the speech By Sheikh Najeeb set a great atmosphere in the hall, while Dr Ahmad of Cheltenham outlined the roots of the Syrian people uprising, and the Skype link with Dr Abdul Aziz, (of Aleppo Hospital), who described the difficulties for Doctors and injured in the city.
